About
Maryann Rainey is a Senior Program Officer. She is responsible for strategic grantmaking in support of Ascendium’s Expand Opportunity strategy. She joined the organization in 2018.
Previously, she served as Director of Operations for Adult Learner Initiatives at the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. She has also held positions with The Ohio State University, Huntington Bank, and Nationwide Insurance.
Raised in Ohio, she earned a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from The Ohio State University.
