About
Jeff Oloizia is the Communications Manager. In this role, he leads editorial direction across grantmaking strategies, develops content and core messaging, and communicates organizational objectives and activities. He joined the organization in 2021.
Previously, Jeff served as a Senior Writer on Ascendium’s Strategic Communications team for four years. Before joining Ascendium, he was a lecturer in the Creative Writing department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and held editorial positions with “The New York Times” and “Interview.” Outside Ascendium, Jeff is an award-winning journalist and an ambassador for the Wisconsin Book Festival.
Jeff earned a Master of Fine Arts in fiction from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
